What Are the Global Forces That Allowed You to Choose?
i like to think about it through concrete, specific situations. What are the forces that allowed you to choose? In my case, living in this neighbourhood, we have every quisine under the sun. I sometimes only half jokingly say, would have loved tohave been a philosopher, but i'm not that bright. And purely abstractly, i can think about philosophical issues, or, in this case, ciological or economic issues, but i need to think about them through individual life. So i admire people who can do that all in an abstruse, indirect way. But both for me and i imagine the students that i'm teaching, it's easier to think about these issues
