The Problem With a 28 Day Buffer

The size of the buffer at 28 days is something like 2,192 terawatt hours a year. Compared to the electric vehicle fleet, that is about 30 times the size of the electric car fleet. If you actually co-opted all electric vehicles into such a scheme, it still would not be enough. So our technology requires clean sinusoidal power to be smooth and reliable 100% of the time. That's why we need to do this.
