Social Action Starts With Consciousness Raising

In the 70s, Katherine McKinnon wrote a book called The Sexual Harassment of Working Women. That was a place where the legal definition of sexual harassment was first proposed. So I'm interested in social activism that begins with consciousness raising. And then these practices empower people and then eventually they could bring them to the general public.
