The Importance of Memorization in the Church
The catechism is just an enormously rich treasury of of Christian language, yeah. It would save you from saying ridiculous things about the Trinity or about the two natures of Christ. So I often say, well, yes, I'm a church's history professor and but a lot of what I do is just glorified catechism instruction. Yeah. In some ways, in some ways, I started off my professional life as a pastor teaching catechism to in eight nine 10 11 12 year old kids. And here it is in 2022. The URC ordination will take place on September 18th next year.
