Why Isn't This a Political Salient Issue?

There is a division within the conservative coalition of the yimbees, which means yes in my backyard. These are people who 20 or 30 years ago would have been able to very easily get on the property ladder and buy somewhere nice. They're now very pissed off that they can't. And what they want is to escape the private rental market by just a few more houses being built so potentially they can get onto the property ladder. There's no counter incentive. What's the counter incentive there for these people to be, for the estate agents, to be honest? Incredible.
