There is no indication that the past pupils union for instance are engaged. And that seems remarkable. It's almost like there was an omerta to borrow the word from the Italian around this for a very, very long time. I don't think it was as organized. I think it was an innate sense of loyalty. They're also very sad for the institution and they take it personally because they feel such affection. Their identity is bound into that school. That's the way it's gone on for generations. Fathers, sons, grandfathers, etc.
