How Can We Continue to Have These Types of Productive Conversations?
i would highly recommend that before going in to talk to your boss, you actually, like develop an ally or colleague at work that you can roll play with before you walk. Ina, one of our business school classmates, she told me very ly in her careers that whenever she had a hard conversation at work, she imagined the person she thought would handle it best was usually her dad. So i use that visualization process a lot. And i also have somebody that i can call and be like, ok, here's the situation. I'm worried about this. Talk me through.
