The End of Social Media

I do kind of feel like it's the end of something though not necessarily of social media but it does feel like the end of the way social media was promised to us when it was first coming. The promise was to connect with your friends or to at least connect with like-minded people not necessarily just the people in your life. These platforms have gone from connection platforms to entertainment platforms all of them and I had a quote from Adam O'Sary talking about how Instagram is no longer a photo sharing app which I think is code for saying it's not about you posting your pictures anymore.
