The federal government plays a role in driving investments toward infrastructure projects that work to address climate change. The pandemic certainly highlighted the social disparities that exist for many vulnerable groups across the country. Infrastructure Canada's disaster mitigation and adaptation fund, which launched in 2018 has a current total envelope of almost $4 billion.
