Are You Sure It's Cuba?
Christopher Columbus set off across the Atlantic in 1492 with 87 men and three old ships. He sailed to an island he called Española Espiola or split as we now know into Haiti and Hispaniola. The West Indies got their names from him - San Salvador, Christ the Saviour. When his crew started saying, Chris, like your top blog, don't want to mug your face, Christopher asked them if they were sure Cuba wasn't on mainland Asia.
