The Role of Equal Opportunities in Violence Prevention

Research shows that in societies where women experience more quality there's lower rates of violence against women so maybe we should start seeing if there's a correlation between the two and tracking that more closely. In Sweden where men and women are given equal opportunity for maternity and paternity leave both parents get a certain amount between them but they can't take it all unless both of them take a considerable amount. Men have higher rates of suicide, mental health issues and toxic masculinity is common theme behind all this toxic masculinity. It's the men who don't adhere to those standards who suffer horribly as well.
