All independent media channels were nationalized, and people essentially have been getting news from just one source of formation for 20 plus years. The government has been living by the famous quote from the nuremberg trials that the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. They're telling russians that ukraine is a full of afachists and nationalists, and that russia is the country that beat fashes in the second world war. And as we speak, am yesterday on the prime med news, the prime propaganda news, there was a riot. A lady on air on the news, a jumped at the back of the news with a poster saying, no war.
