The Legend of Iron Eyes on the Cosmoere

The sorceress commands quite a bit of power. She apparently has so much power that even a dragon doesn't necessarily want to cross her. This is when we get our first mention of the fact that as Chris says in the R's Arkaneum of the Lost Metal, iron eyes and the legend of iron eyes is making its way around the cosmere. We see him show up metaphorically and symbolically as the representation of death on lumar. Trest says, quote, don't wake me up unless death himself has shown up nails in his eyes end quote. So seemingly the entire planet has had the image of marsh and death combined in their history at some point.
