Teachers should practise what they preach, says ECT. Don't worry about the stress during the encoding phase of a lesson - just do your task. Even though we will definitely be stressed, we can still retrieve the information that we want. Teachers who are not experienced often look as if they're so unstressed because they've never taught a topic before.
