Millenarionism is a new sense of this kind of imminent eschatological catastrophe. It's one that we've brought in ourselves by sort of exploiting the earth rather than something that's happening on a divine timetable. The idea has been around for a long time, and now you can find it in environmentalist terms. Greta Thunberg has kind of a pass because she's a teenager on the discourse that would never be acceptable from adults. So does that last? I think it's his change in she's now in her twenties, so she's no longer a teenager.
