The Pros and Cons of Ledger Recovery

I think it's a massive win for individual Bitcoin trans actors and then the mining pools as well. I've gotten so many messages by people who are freaking out over the last week or so with this new service ledger recover where they take a chamere, chamere secret shard of your key. The question has not been answered to me. Like, does the introduction of this product prove that the extraction of the key has been possible via some sort of backdoor in the past? It might be worse than Bud Light.
