Do Not Need to Get Overtime Pay?
A white paper shows that firms are saving for the people billion dollars in overtime payments a year simply by getting creative with titles. In California, if you wanted to categorize somebody as a manager at least in California, we had a not just giving them the right title but also then having to say what is it? These inflated titles result in 13% less pay than they might otherwise get. So Jennifer saying this is discrimination, absolutely. But it's discriminating against the people who make more money so it's okay.
