A lot of times do we focus more on the customer. But for most products, there is a difference between acquisition features and retention features. And if you're not specifically trying to tease out the two of those things, you'll get them all muddled together - that's not good. If i just go in and say, what do you love about our stuff? What's the value yo get our stuffwhatever? Customers will tell you a bunch of stuff that may not be the reason why they picked you over the competition at all.
