The Role of Relationship Management in a CVC
I would say what's almost more important than the title or position is the trust that person has in the company. So a lot of times what you want to avoid is the hard edged P and L owner of a business unit saying, yeah, I get that that's five years out. That's not going to make the quarter. It's fluffy. Unless the person who is doing that is actually somebody who has been in a P and L role before or is trusted and is listen, you know, they can bridge the long term vision to the short term imperative,. And that carries a lot of weight.
