The Time of Revolt in the Wilderness
Moses was the one who led the people through the time of rebellion in the wilderness. He said, they saw my works for 40 years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation and said, they're always going astray in their hearts. And so as I swore in my wrath, they will not enter my rest. So what the others are doing, he's telling you the story. And he's saying, Jesus is superior to Moses. And the people in the wilderness rebel against Moses and they face the consequences.
