The church needs to learn how to be generous and find strategic places to invest outside of their church to help others. Proverbs 21 20 says, in the house of a wise person there are stores of choice, food and oil. The fool spends all that he has. So you never live to your limit. Margin is just space so that you actually can say yes to a lot of things. Both income or decrease need to happen but what we know we can control is spending. And lis just stuck with creating margins by decreasing unnecessary spending.
