After moving to paris, the old members of the breton club gathered together to form a new club that would be far more organized and centralized. By 17 90 there were seven thousand jacobin clubs across france, boasting almost 500000 active members. Most of the major revolutionary figures will count themselves as members of the jacobins at some point or another. But there's one guy that we should peel off and talk about right now: Maximilian robespierre.
