If God Could Save Everyone, Why Didn't He?
If God could save everyone, why didn't he? Isn't that a question we've heard? It's a good question. And isn't this the heart of the mystery in these verses that I just read? Somehow, if God has mercy on all or condemns all, we wouldn't see his mercy like we could if he only had mercy on some. That's just what Paul tells us in verse 23. In order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory. He seeming to say God's choosing to save some and leaving others will in the end be more fitting to show forth God's goodness and glory than any other scheme we can
