QCD Is a Great Example of Complexity

The basic equations that govern how quarks and gluons interact are profoundly simple. And yet, they build up protons and nuclear physics with all that complexity. The big part of that story is from QCD. It's as if you have LEGO bricks that can be put together and taken apart to make enormously complex structures. Although individually, they're very simple, both in themselves and in their rules.
