Cecil asked his former sister-in-law to sort of be a consort for Diane, when she arrived in Fairbanks. He knew it was going to be a challenge. The culture there is very much a drinking culture and massively dominated by the army bases nearby. There are enormous amounts of men in town rather than an equitable parasy. So there's a lot of people with a lot of money and there was violent crime as well,. especially of a domestic variety.
