How to Optimize Your Hot Development Tool for Faster Startup Times

The performance work is definitely ongoing like I've done quite a bit over the last few weeks just trying to get it even faster because if you just kind of rest on your laurels gradually you just get fatter and fatter. So we always re-optimize regularly to stay within a usable startup time where it depends on your laptop of course but I like that the fact that this feature actually keeps us honest as far as the start of time. One thing we've been exploring and we probably need to keep working on is how do I do my JavaScript front end and Quarkus back end and have them work hand in hand so maybe you can chat a bit about that.
