I would much rather have independent projects with people than just have one company like paying a fixed rate and you can only work for them. Cause on an individual level, that's frustrating too. I guess this is part of the argument in the book or that they're running up against is that if you're being employed by the company, like you should be working. Right. Like his, his example was like the pilot when you really want to leave is like, if you have a pilot who's under contract and then somebody just pays him more than you can pay up, the pilot's going to go over there. But it doesn't make sense to like keep a driver when you can just

Today we’re discussing The Goal by Eliyahu M. Goldratt. It is a business novel that Eliyahu used to introduce the “Theory of Constraints”, a sort of meta-theory for business (and life, really) that you can use to advance the output of just about any system. It is very much a “zero-to-one” book, where you’ll see the world differently after reading.
