The Differences Between PDK Polls and Education Next Polls
CNN's John Sutter says Americans have a much higher opinion of their local schools, in particular really their own kids' schools than they do of the nation's schools as a whole. The national narrative about the public schools "doesn't really align with our lived experiences," he says. People are more likely to believe or adopt particular kind of narratives if they come from particular kinds of backgrounds or have particular kinds of political affiliations, Sutter adds.
