The founder of Stoicism, Zeno Sittium, is said to have found his way to philosophy by stumbling upon a dialogue about Socrates' life written by Xenophon. And he was the very first Stoic, if you will, thefounder of Stoicism. The difference Stoics take Socrates as a key model for what it is to be a philosopher and live well. So I think a really cool character and some interesting innovations of his own.
