Is Christ the Petra?

In all of the new testament, the church or peter are never said to combat with hades. But there are at least two places in the new testament where jesus is put in connection with hades as it's concorer. So for that reason, i think that when it says the gates of hell will not prevail against it, that it is the petra, and that petra is christ. In mathew chapter six, 16, there is an initial statement about peter's knowledge. There is a middle statement about christ, and then it returns to this question aboutPete ter's authority. And then it ends with another statement about pPeter's knowledge.
