"I started smoking pot and drinking when I was 11. So I had a good 10-year chunk of using," she said. "Now I've been sober for almost as long as I was using for, which is a really weird place to be." The actor says he grew up with an idealized version of New York City in his head. He knew that he wanted to work in television and film after high school.
