There are over 300 million people in the united states. Out of 25 hundred bites, on average, per year, only about four to eight people die a year from a black widow spider bite. The urban legend that black widdow spiders are the deadliest in the world is flat out not true. They're carnivorous and eat things that are in your house that you don't want to be actly.
