The Importance of American Conservatism in Britain

Like most British people there's a lot about the Republican party that I found quite repulsive. The gun culture is completely alien because in the urban society guns are like obviously make no sense. So anything that comes out Harvard or New York or Washington or Silicon Valley just gets complete is overwhelmingly dominant in Britain. If those kind of crazy Republican ideas were popular in Britain I would dislike them as well but they just have no traction whatsoever.
