The Importance of Ketogenic Diets
When we're talking about a ketogenic diet, it's something that produces over 0.5 millimoles of ketones in the body and is typically defined as carbohydrate under 50 grams. A low carb could be anything up to 40% of calorie-strainary diet in the sports nutrition context. And very low carb high fat diets are typically, you know, 60 to 80% dietary fat with with the rest being split between carbohydrates and protein.
