Why So Much Poverty in a Land of Abundance?
CNN's John Sutter talks with Matthew Chance, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book Evicted. He asks why does a wealthy nation have so many living in poverty? The answer is that we subsidize affluence more than to alleviate poverty, he says. "We build walls and we hoard affluence behind those walls," Case writes.
