The Best Way to Learn Pacing

Pacing is the art of finding your limit and that you're only really touching on your true limits in races. A lot of times we're comparing the marathon to a 5K. Those are in different universes. The difference between an 800 meter rep or race rather, a 1 kilometer race, a 1500, a 3K, a 5K, the way in which you pace it is totally different. You can only get so much pacing practice outside of the race and context because you're learning how to push yourself harder.
