Is It OK for Miners to Discriminate and Not Push Out Nonstandard Transactions?
Some transactions are nonstandard, which means they wouldn't be relayed by normal nodes. Adam Back had a post that he deleted where he said it would be okay for miners to just discriminate and not push out blocks that had these type of transactions there. So many Bitcoiners consider this like a denial of service attack, similar to miners used to mine empty blocks. And the fees were clearly paid out of band as well.
