CHAPTER

The Perpetual Philosophy of Consciousness

If you were able to have a conversation with your cat called Roger, and you were to ask him to describe the content of his experience. He'd be describing the same reality that you perceive but he would surely see it in a very different way from you. We all have our own experience of consciousness. What is it that is experiencing consciousness in each of us? It is consciousness. Only awareness is aware. And therefore only awareness can have any knowledge of itself - let alone anything else. That applies then to not just a human finite mind, 2000 BC, but to any conscious agents anywhere in any realm. Yes. Part B of that same question then would be the perennial philosophy.
