Contagion might basically initiate collective changes in state and synchronize group movement. If one member of a group is like, o time for visilance, or like time toke shake you out of like, that sleepy feeling, that makes sense to share that signal exactly. And over millions of years, maybe that difference can be the survival of a species.

People yawn when they’re bored, right? So then why do athletes yawn before races? And why do so many animals yawn? … And why does reading this paragraph make you more likely to yawn?
