Why Doesn't She Tell Him What's Going On?
The house becomes a metaphor for your manhood. He doesn't care about her and like her feelings whatsoever. And I think that's just exemplified during the like the siege on the house. Because his aggression is not revenge on her account, which we've kind of talked about. But then when Amy is just like, let's give up the guy who tried to strangle her too. That house would never have happened if he hadn't just shown himself to be an ineffectual dupe. If he had not allowed violence against his house earlier, it is not his house. The rape is still fresh in my mind. Like, it's super hardcore effective.
