David: I think a regulatory apparatus could easily act as effectively a sort of fig leaf for them to say like well not our problem you know we let them look into it. He says he doesn't see much in the way of of government but there is room for even government participation in it. David's solutions orient around non-targeted ways of breaking up ossified groups, slowing down virality and where possible actually lowering faith in random data streams.
