The Standard Model Explains the Three Forces

The standard model explains these three forces and it explains all of the elementary particles that we've ever detected. We were just discovering things and trying to fit them into some sort of theory, but not doing a very good job of it. No one was predicting what we were going to discover next. Not really any way. And they wanted some explanation, but none was forthcoming at that point.
