The Importance of Staying On

I would have expected to have had another term as Treasury Secretary. My term was up in April 2011. But the thing is that politics is fickle around. And I didn't think it was in the Treasury's interest that I was staying on either. It was the right time for me to hand over and certainly to hand over to Martin.
