The Effective Altruist Move
The effect of altruists, at least rhetorically, seem to me to be often doing. They're saying like Peter Singer, it's like, if you really take human well-being seriously, then you've got to pursue it in this completely different way than what you've been doing. But apparently it's just hard to make that move very often. Not many people know how to make thatMove because otherwise I guess we would see it more. It might be worth thinking through some concrete examples of that move in our world.
