The Differences Between Ukrainian and Russian Forces in the Summer of 2023
I think in the run up to this offensive, folks like myself or Abtou, we're thinking we're cautiously optimistic. We did not know what the axis of advance would be, what the Ukrainian plan would be. And so you would have had rather different outcomes, I personally think. In this fight, relative to Kursung, Kursung had much more favorable geometry for Ukrainian forces than this battlefield does not.
