The Importance of Multi Level Models
A lot of it is not the actual model itself. It's about what are the random effects and what are you trying to do with them? And I think that's the multi level class comes before SEM at ASU. A lot of people don't have latent variables and random effects already. Don't have that vernacular already. They're just building that up of what is a cluster specific slope? Like what does that mean? I can't see that. My data, it's not a column in my data set that says, oh, school 14 has a slope of 12.
