The Value of the Star Wars Saga
In terms of star wars, it seems like because of literacy in the ancient world, that more people in this world are aware of the star war story than people were aware of, say, homers, stories in ancient Greece. Our culture is so complex that we don't have the unity that you had in ancient culture. I think it has immense aesthetic value. It's cleverly done. It's fun. But neither of them is like Homer. Homer was not just entertainment. Homer was their Bible. No, I would disagree. I would say it has power, not authority. It has might, but not necessarily right. Authority is right.
