The Beta Brainwave State Is Our Least Adaptive State
Every time I do the hypnosis at night, I instantly fall asleep. And I've been struggling with insomnia all my life. So what is going on there? Why does it work? Yeah. What's happening is we're going to get a little bit scientific. If we were to put sensors on our head and look at the output that our brain is creating, so our brain waves are spiky. This is normal waking consciousness. This is also where we experience stress. Most people are stressed out all the time. Even if something stressful is not currently happening, we've built up such habitual stress that there's this underlying anxiety,. even when we're relaxing.
