Shouldn't School Children Have a Right to Not Have to Fear Mass Shootings in Their Schools?

Shouldn't we have a right to live in a society where kids are not having to do active shooter drills in their schools quarterly or monthly, or whatever it might be like? I think that the problem is when when you're focusing on the guns, you're often actually not focusing on the thing, on the things that will change the circumstances on the ground. There's a famous, a glenkesler fact check from the 20 16 election cycle where he noted that not a single one of the currently prevalent gun control measures would have stopped a single serious mass shooting over the period of years evaluated. Ah, safety is not the interest that trumps all other interests.
