The government has tried endless measures to stop the flow of small boats crossing the channel. With each new measure, so the numbers of boats making the crossing increase exponentially. The Guardian reckons they've come up with about 40 ideas over 13 years. We will go on shortly because we're going to be talking about Suela Braverman's newest, meatiest, freshest attempt to stop small boats and just what that means for our position with regard to international law now.
